Sarah Williams Skupien

Sarah Williams Skupien is a teacher, mother, dancer, and community volunteer. Originally from Ocean Springs, MS, Sarah was trained in ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary dance at the Visual
& Performing Arts Centre by Mrs. Donna Burke. She has danced professionally in several productions, including touring internationally in Greg Thompson’s "Broadway Showstoppers". As health and wellness chairperson of the East Side Elementary Parents and Teachers Association in Marietta, GA, Sarah developed a value program, "Standing on the Shoulders of Giants", which focused on building character and well-being in children. A Joffrey School of Ballet and Dance Masters of America scholarship winner, she is a certified teacher and member of the Royal Academy of Dance and currently teaches ballet I and tap dance at South Mississippi Ballet Theatre. A summa cum laude graduate from Mississippi State University, Sarah also currently teaches chemistry and physics at Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg, MS.
