Dress Code

Beginning Ballet - Advanced Ballet

• Leotards:
  Pre-Ballet, Beginning Ballet – So Dance Flemma SL113 Light Pink
  Intermediate Ballet – So Dance Flemma SL113 in Lilac
  Advanced Ballet – So Dance Flemma SL113 in Navy

• Non-Ballet classes (at teacher discretion) - Any color leotard, tight fitting shirt, black leggings or tights may be worn. Assigned leotards and tights are also acceptable.
• Pink, Split-Soled, Canvas Ballet Shoes. Shoes must be fitted with no growing room. Full-soled or leather shoes will not be permitted.
• C45 or A45 Body Wrappers Seamed Tights in Theatrical Pink for all performance; pink foot tights for class.
• Circular Stretch Band, Thera-band (Light and Medium Strength)

Additional Information:

• Hair must be secured in a bun. If hair is too short to be in a bun, hair must be pulled back from the face and cannot be loose.

• Pointe shoe readiness is determined by the teacher, and an in-person fitting must be scheduled at a dancewear shop. All pointe shoes must be approved before sewing ribbons and elastic.

• Dancewear may not be worn outside of the studio. A cover up and street shoes should always be worn when coming into the studio and leaving. Ballet shoes may never be worn outside of the building due to tracking grease, dirt, and debris onto our dance floors.

• Dancers are expected to be picked up within 10 minutes of the end of scheduled classes.

• Dancers arriving 10 minutes after the beginning of class must ask the teacher’s permission before entering class and may be asked to observe.
