Margarita Dronova was born in Russia, then family moved to Almaty Kazakhstan, where she started to do gymnastics in the sport club Dynamo. She has background in gymnastics and in dance. She completed studying at Moscow University of Sport with outstanding diploma. After graduation, she started to work in Dynamo Almaty as a coach and choreographer. In 1989-1991 she worked as a choreographer for Junior National Squad of USSR. In 1992 she and her husband Vladimir Ufimtsev moved to Scotland where she worked as a choreographer for girls. In 1998 she was invited to work as a national choreographer for Men British Gymnastics Association. She worked with all squads. In 2001 she moved to the USA and worked in Armory Gymnastics Alabama and in Planet Gymnastics Mississippi.
