Michelle grew up in Columbia starting her dance training with Yvonne Bergeron and Henry Danton as well as Ballet Apetrei in Mandeville LA. She went on to further her training with Alabama School of Fine Arts and Virginia School of the Arts as well as multitude of summer intensives including Kirov Academy, Milan Italy, and a tour of US with Irina Kolpakova and Henry Danton. Michelle danced professionally with Festival Ballet of Rhode Island, Montgomery Ballet, Ballet South, and guest performed and taught in local ballet academies while in Physical Therapy school at university of South Alabama. While working as a PT at Merit Health Wesley for the last 20 years, she has taught at various schools and times including bringing the art to underprivileged children. She is currently the instructor for the conditioning class at SMBT day school.
